Interview on the logo of the Obama Campaign with Sol Sender

Sol Sender, who recently joined VSA, led the team that developed the design strategy and the logo concept of the Obama '08 campaign. In a two-part interview on the VSA website he talks about the logo explorations which resulted in the iconic «O». It's a very interesting insight into the process of design and shows some developmental concepts and finalist designs which were not chosen for the campaign identity. I absolutely agree with Armin of Brand New as he thinks that this interview clearly demonstrates
… that good things happen when good designers are involved. At Logo Design Love David Airey shows an overview of the concepts he extracted from the interview. (via Brand New, vsapartners.com, Logo Design Love)
