European Design Festival in Zurich

This year's European Design Festival will happen in Zurich, Switzerland, after its last stop in 2008 has been Stockholm, Sweden. Between the 14th and 17th of May there will be several «Design Walks» and other events related to the topic of graphic design complementing the ED Conference (May 15th – 17th) and the ED Award ceremony (May 17th). The detailled program will be released on the website within the next few weeks.

The submission period for the ED Award 2009 will end on February 14th. The competition is open to designers living or working in Europe even if the submitted work was done for non-European customers. The winners and finalists will be featured in the annual design publication which documents the festival. (via slanted, ed-awards.com)
